Advance your first aid skills.

Anaphylaxis First Aid

A 3 hour hands on and informative workshop and is designed for anyone who needs training in how and when to use an auto injector in the treatment of anaphylaxis. 
No previous knowledge of first aid is required to attend this FREE training.

With 40% of children and young people now suffering from allergies, the ability to understand allergic conditions, and deal with sudden or severe symptoms is fast becoming an essential part of childcare. 
Workplace first aiders who have to deal with those prone to anaphylaxis should also attend.
Remote First Aid welcomes young people from the age of 12 years and upwards on this course but they must be accompanied by an adult member of the family or guardian. this course is also suitable for family members.

What you will learn

Prevention, recognition and treatment of severe allergic reaction including the use of auto-injectors and CPR.

Course content:
  • Allergic reaction
  • Primary survey
  • Communication and casualty care
  • Unconscious casualty
  • Auto-injector- Anapen® and EpiPen®
  • Resuscitation - all ages.
We are delivering 2 free workshops that is fully accredited and will be delivered by Mr Pete Cook FRGS a Royal College of Nursing (RCN) approved trainer in this subject. A certificate of attendance will be issued to participants and is endorsed by Allergy UK & the RCN.

Those interested can book on to a AM or PM session which commences at either 09.30 or 14.00. Spaces are limited so early booking is advised. These workshops are FREE to attended and are supported by our partner training venues and Allergy UK.
